Kenny posted an interesting Nurgle list that got me thinking - the MC smash could use some Multi-charge help.  His Nurgle list is a great look at it - for those interesting here it is - reposted from BlackBlowFly's page.

Total Roster Cost: 1849

I really like the Plague Drones moving up - and helping you keep and control the center.  A lot of 40k right now is board  control and it is one of the things "better" lists lose on as the superior opponent just has a better handle on where things are and how to get the most of their army.  Hell I can go on and on about board control and the ways to funnel your opponent around and away.  But I really need to photo a battle rep to get that idea.

I have been thinking Screamers might not be completely terrible.  They are fast, can do something that doesn't give your opponent a crap stackable FNP, can help with the multicharge, hold your opponent in place, and soak in the Over watch.

Let's look at a straight Tzeentch list.  Will spam out Telepathy on the DP's because Invisibility is almost the Grim for the units.

HQ: Fate Weaver
HQ: Lord of Change, Lvl 3, Exalted Gift, Greater Gift
Troops: Pink Horrors X 10
Troops: Pink Horrors X 10
Troops: Pink Horrors X 10
FA: Screamers X 5
FA: Screamers X 5
HVY: Daemon Prince, MoT, Wings, Armor, Greater Gift X 2, Lesser Gift, Lvl 3
HVY: Daemon Prince, MoT, Wings, Armor, Greater Gift X 2, Lesser Gift, Lvl 3

1835 - so you can do some small upgrades to the Horrors.  Or hell make two 15 man blobs.  That way you have more shooting.

But this gives you some small FA options to go, hit first, and cause problems.  Getting a rerollable 2+ is pretty mean and might win you the game as you hold something down.  Plus the Meltabomb bite is pretty good at times too.

A client/helldrake meanie talked about another list that might be interesting using BloodCrushers.  This is not Mono Khorne as I think it won't nearly be as good - but it is still an idea.

HQ: Fateweaver
HQ: Skulltaker, Juggernaut
HQ: Khorne Herald, Juggernaut. Exalted Gift, Locus of Wrath
HQ: Khorne Herald, Juggernaut, Greater Gift, Lesser Gift
HQ: Khorne Herald, Juggernaut, Greater Gift, Lesser Gift
Elite: Bloodcrushers X 3, Chaos Icon
Troops: Pink Horrors X 12, Iridescent Horror
Troops: Pink Horrors X 12, Iridescent Horror
Troops: Plague Bearers X 10
Heavy: Soul Grinder, Baleful Torrent, MoS
Heavy: Soul Grinder, Baleful Torrent, MoS
Heavy: Soul Grinder, Baleful Torrent, MoS

I am wondering if MoN for the Grinders might be better - but the idea is to have them Deep Strike off the Crushers.  You will put the book on them and watch as your opponent groans when trying to kill a bunch of 3++ or 2++ save assholes.  Skull Taker can take a lot of pain with a 2++ too.  It also seems to have some speed, use Crushers, and might work.  Might hahaha. The idea is the Grinders DP off the Crushers and get in close to throw the pain with flamers.  It could work.  And Nurgle Grinders might be better as they Deep Strike into terrain to get an annoying cover save.

With that in mind - time to show some models and call it a night.

Dragon 2 of 3 - hates me!

Dragon 3 of 3 means its done!

You gonna eat that? Ultraforge Greater Plague  Daemon.

Killer Kan Legs, Upper Body from the Warshrine, Wings from a Tyrannofex (Stolen from Rob Baer)

Weird bug thingie DP - Burning Brand Asshole - Legs/Arms Killer Kans, Body, head, arms, and wings from a Plague Drone.

Metal Orks! Mr. Ender wanted them to match the big Kromlech Warboss he is getting too - thus red orks.  They look mean and grim,

Green flame!  WOOSH!!!

I fly over you and hit you with my junk.

Some really great stuff you have painted... Your green is really popping.

I like Kenny's list too. I would try to work in some ranged shooting... That's one of the reasons why I like CSM with daemons... Those Oblits really can come in quite handy.

: )
