Blargh!  I think the Goats are gonna come out at first as the crazy super list I posted the last time.  I want to test it out to see if it works.  If it does - then I need to figure out some Thunderfire cannons.  That is the one thing I want to play with.  Or I just go with a CSM list as my Feast army is off to Denver most likely.  Hooray!

Basic and fast.  I went with the Spawn and Sorcerer to give me another caster plus a way to punk a Wraith Knight with the Hand of Darkness.  Plus the extra spells you roll with the Heralds will have a nice place to rest on the Spawn.  Forewarning on spawn with Endurance is pretty spicy.  Still it should work out ok.  The list needs to get reviewed by Feast but it appears right haha.

I will give the list a play just to feel it out I hope on Thursday.  After that it is random Goat lists to find the bike army that fits me.  Or something.  I just have too many Goat bikes damnit haha.

I wanted this to be longer but I am tired as crap.  Odd day with work as I turned down a job that paid a bit more but the hours would mean no real wife time or friend time.  The extra money is alright but I am not hurting right now which makes my wife happy as I don't bitch anymore haha... thanks mom for making me a crazy bill person... but I haven't lived paycheck to paycheck for awhile so I am finally feeling alright.

Oh my goodness!

It's Monday and CSM lists are a brewing.  I will get pictures coming up soon - I just didn't get time to get them off my camera to get up here.  So no new model pics till Wednesday.  I did get a lot done and have started to work on my list for Feast.  It is not spam heavy like the list I posted on BOLS.  A lot of the time I do that to just guage how annoying commentors can be.  And they were. 

Hell commentors everywhere have been lame.  They complain that the codex isn't as point and click as GK was.  They are upset that the book is more like corrupted marines instead of full on batshit Demon nonsense.  In fact they are just being annoying and complaining.  I am happy with the book.  In fact - I am extremely excited about the nonsense I see within the hallowed pages of 40k nonsense.  The list I plan on bringing to feast is designed to hold some objectives, be annoying, and just help me continue to play the game in as exciting a way as I feel is possible. 

So with that - let's look at some of my list thoughts. First is a straight CSM list and the one I am thinking of for Feast is a Hybrid with Demons.

The Cultists control the Quadgun and then I shoot things as needed.  The lord as a bit too expensive but it he seems fun as he runs around with some Chaos Spawn.  I might need more but if you leave it small enough it isn't nearly as mean to get rid of.  Plus a bunch of spawn running around sound neat.  I think there is some power there as well.

Comes out to 1995 - I get 5 scoring units - some nice mix of weenie stuff and anti horde.  I can kill Land raiders with the Screamers - cover the field and have some unit holders in the Chaos Spawn.  Hit a unit, cause a lot of wounds and hope for the best.  If I could drop the Veteran of the Long War I could get a Chaos Mutation - but you can't really test much with that.  The Cultists man the Quad gun as needed.

List ideas woohoo - and a lot more random then what I posted on BOLS.  Again sometimes it is fun to stir the pot a bit.

Thursday! No game tonight - but game this weekend?

Will see. I want to see Resident Evil 5 to finish off the nonsense. I have seen all the others and need to just finish it off damnit. Beyond that I have been painting like a machine. I am chunking through some commission stuff and getting ready to get ahold of my Dark Vengeance. I have a Clients DV to do so you will see those models popping up. The Chosen are frigging awesome. I also did up some Tau stuff too. Plus I drew some things! I will post the Wargamescon V tshirt design. Everyone likes it so it will be a go team venture!

With Chaos having a chance to not be out in time I have to think of lists for Feast. It is a bit of a pain as I need to figure out if I want to add in Crons or just go full bore with the Orks and have a good time with a horde of nonsense. NONSENSE! Blargh it is a pain in the butt to think about. Ork Horde list that is right in my mind.

Basically I cover the board in Crap and hope to hold everything in the end. I have the Bikerz to zip around and try to kill things. They are small enough of a unit to hide a bit more from shooting. The Dakkajets act as my lootas as well. I was almost tempted to drop the Nobz in favor of a Weird Boy to just try for some nonsense but I don't think it is worth it. Still I am close to having this army (need to make another blob of boyz and a Dakkajet) so it isn't a terrible idea. I want to try out it out a bit and the cost to my wallet would be small.

I really want to make Necrons work - I just would need 200+ dollars to get it working and I really don't want to spend that with Chaos coming out. I might have to wait a bit and just sit on these Annihilation barges a bit longer. Oh well - I did get one painted hehe. I guess I can wait for Necron Wraith deals to slowly build out a Wraith wing for my armies. Or just continue playing Chaos and Orks hehe.

If cultists are going to be this cheap then I can see a lot of games having to deal with 90+ cultists lead by the jerk Dark Apostle guys and just gumming up the field as your Chaos Space Marines move around into nonsense land. Throw in some Daemon engines and call it a day. Will see if the book is as good as we want it to be. Mix that with Horus Heresy coming out and my wallet is eating it in the butt.

So all in all I am doing good this week. Just machining through things and getting models done. Woohoo - its like I want to get paid or something haha. I think it has to do with having new things to paint instead of the normal stuff. After the DV for Luis gets done I am back to some Mordhiem for him, then some IG, and finally onto some marine stuff. Woohoo! I think Jens has some CSM stuff and GK counts as stuff too. And Chris has more Cryx stuff as well.

Ok enough of that - some models to look at right?

Another week - more models done

It never ends for the Goatboy. This week starts the change of not being able to paint at work. It also marks the last week of my old schedule and a change to a new one. I can't double down on time so it means a change up in how I work. The new schedule is 7am to 4pm so I should have time to bust out some models after work. That is my plan anyway.

This week is the in between and I plan on taking a bit of a break, work on some art, and well get ready mentally for the Da Boyz. Mentally in the fact of throwing down dice for 5 games haha. Either way it should be a lot of fun seeing some friends and hanging out with Nick Rose and a bunch of others. I am almost finished with the display board. I need to put more magnets on bases as well as get some flock and other bits on there to match it all up. I plan on doing that tomorrow after work. Woohoo!

I painted up some Mantic Marauders too so look for those reviews to pop up soon too. I finished up all the Deff Koptas as well as some other small bits and pieces this week. Add in a Plastic Dudesmen and I did pretty well for my last "double time" Sunday.

That is it for the plan - when I get back from Rochester I plan on hitting some other things and get this Speed Freak army out of the house as well. That will help some of my bills hah. From there I will have a Dark Eldar Army coming out and who knows what else haha. Lots of stuff.

I am still trying to figure out my Feast list. It will probably be 2 Dreads, 2 Terminator squads and a bunch of other things. Who the hell knows haha. I really like the two fat squads of termies. I sent Chandler a list that I will probably end up playing - but I still want to do some tweaking as usual. Of course if I do that I end up making something nutty that won't work and I eat a crap ton of sadness donuts. Sad panda indeed :(.
