Woohoo Crazy Week!!

We got 7th edition on he horizon - an event coming up - shit need to send my list in.  More work to do.  Get the house baby ready... big task - plus I should hook up this Xbox one a friend let me borrow as he gets his house ready after his move.  Fun times indeed.  Man.

I need to move my mini corner in the living room upstairs.  That is going to suck as I really need to pair down some bit stuff.  I have a ton of shit I don't need... ughs.  But hey - does anyone know if GW sprue is recyclable?  Meh.

1850 on the nose.  This one is pretty copy and paste nonsense but I think it could be fun.  I go forward, cast some spells and do crazy stuff.

I could drop fate weaver and the whole grim nonsense and go with a LOC.  That one is pretty boss.  Shit I could go with a FMC type of build too - but the Herald group sounds cool as shit haha.

Ugh... I hope we see a nice change in May for 40k.  I really do.  Will see if they can tweak some stuff or more events just drop Battle Bros.  Just drop it please. 2 Books and no Battle Bros is what most likely needs to be tweaked.  It just feels better.  I guess you could just say Battle Bros can't join units that are not from their parent book but ... blargh.

I need to buy some plane tickets too.  Just to get all my ducks in a row for the events.  I got ATC, Nova, Alamo, SpikeyCon and Texas Games Con.  That is it for me for the year hahah.  Plus the baby right hehe.

Man - this comic thing just wears me out at times.  I gets hard after awhile to try and do it week after week for what sometimes feels - lackluster response.  Meh - but hey people love to hate on me and I guess that is worth... it?  Blargh...

1850 on the nose - I wanted to test some things for the upcoming Alamo GT tournament in San Antonio.  It is a more laid back event so I went with stuff all over the place.  If the Vengeance batteries should themselves to be good - might run Spawn bomb haha.

He got a little aggressive so I was able to jump out, blow up a transport and cause issues in his middle.  Called it quick cuz he was about to be out of troops.  Things I learned.

Vengeance batteries - the shit with Quad Lascannons.  Playing Knights and they allowed updated Fortifications from Stronghold? Take these guys.  Big must!
Don't need 2 dragons - one can work.
The Khorne Lord on a Jugger who gets the 2+ armor save mutation is baller.
Bel'akor in these style lists is probably too good as he gives you answers to everything.

So most likely will do some changes to the list to make it more enjoyable.  Not sure what yet - but will post those ideas.

Goatboy's Tuesday

Won't have much to show this week - being gone for a lot of it obviously.  Let's get in some rants first.

1. Postal Service - 3 Knights that were supposed to get to a Client on Monday didn't get there till Wednesday night.  They were damaged but repairable.  Makes me mad cuz he needed them for Adepticon.  Still he was happy with them and will probably add more guard to the army :).  Also another item going to Canada has just left customs there after more then 2 weeks?  Meh!

2. Tournament 40k - Man events need more LOS terrain, do something about these lists, and I don't know what else.  I think Battle Bros is going to be the first thing dropped then maybe something about rerollable saves.  Will see.

3. Losing your voice sucks.

Ok basic rants - just wanted to get annoyances off my chest.  Let's write up a paint list for my week and go from there.  I also need to find someone locally good at repairing house stuff.  Meh!

Captain America 2: Winter Solider was awesome.  People should see it.  So much better then I expected and I can't wait for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Sorry no battle reports.  It was kind of lackluster and I don't feel like writing up me being whiney.  Just know some games were good - a lot were boring.  So leave it at that.  Right now I am just focusing on getting the Hobby side done for a bit with some list ideas as usual.  But I have to jet off to work so I can pay my bills.  Dancing doesn't cut it no more haha.

Goatboy's Sunday? Monday? What Day?

Man Adepticon is coming.  I did something stupid and bought the wrong date to fly in.  Lucky I was with Southwest so it didn't cost me much to change it.  But man... first mess up in ticket buying in awhile.  I blame getting everything all at once for a few events.  My fault but ugh!  I will be there Wednesday and hopefully Thursday and Friday won't just be Death Star A Rama for me.  Who am I kidding - I will just be playing Thursday hahaha.

Still not sure on what to bring. I have to get my Adepticon Team part done this week.  It will be the Goats so I don't have to do too much.  It won't look completely awesome but parts will be neat.  When I get ready to do my Goat Knights I will look at cleaning up the guys to make an army.  I think the Knights are good - not amazing.  They should all be 25-50 points cheaper but enh.  I just wish we had all the options in there ya know?

Still looking at Knights plus stuff.  You have to be so sure with anti flyer.  It is making me thinking Marines with a Storm Talon and Raven but man - you need to fit what is needed in 730 points.  Look at this basic Marines.

This isn't a fun list - but very aggressive with the teleporting Group that has tank hunting Gauss guns.  They should rip apart of things and if Knights are a pain this might be a good option for that.  The Lord is there to cause some Mind Shackle problems and the Warriors plus Night Scythe is just another decent troop to go across the board.  The 3 Drakes are just there to remove things and you need the one Autocannon to help deal with Armor.  It seems decent - you could also make Crons the main and get a crazy group with the Immortals and look to add in Tomb Spyders.  But I don't have those so thus I use this right?  Hehe - I just need to make Nemesor and Obryon to get this working.  Oh and fix one Dragon that is busted.  Hrm...

Ok some models and call it a day.
