So all in all things are going well. I will be working on Labor day so look for a ton of crap ton. Currently this is what I want to test on Friday. It is an Cron/Ork Hybrid designed to not lose games and hopefully win based on having more dudes on the table top.

It is a big mass of guys and I want to see if it works. I also might test some nonsense without the defense line with a KFF - but really the Defense line gives me a 4+ instead of the 5+ and if the Lootas go to ground, they get a 2+ and can still hit on 6's. Not to shabby. Will it work? Who the heck knows. It still looks extremely interesting to play with.

Lucky for me I can get the Barges cheap, it is just the two asshole flyers and the 2 boxes of awesome Wraiths. And of course with Chaos coming out I might dump this idea and move onto that. Will find out if it does come out in time for Feast or if I just scramble to paint up guys. The Ork side is almost done so that isn't an issue. I can always just play orks as well if need be. Tons of boyz all over the table top doing annoying things.

Alright - that is it for now - some models to look at and I am gone. Oh yeah - today is my 3 year anniversary with my lovely wife Katie. Lucky for me she likes me more then some of the commenters on BOLS hehe. We had a nice hang out day and will be going to Las Vegas next week. We saw Paranorman - which was good and just had a nice day hanging out. I got some time to write this up as she was talking to her boss. Plus I needed to get the Plastic Dudesmen colored up.

Got a game with Darkwynn this weekend. He won due to secondary objectives. I might have tied but forgot to roll Reanimation protocols. The list I played is a mix on the one I posted on BOLS. Love how people just hate it.

I played against Darkwynn's Eldar/Tau army and there was a lot of wonky dice rolling. Coteaz made 30 saves during one War Walker shoot fest. I also shot a lot at his Bastion with Dar Reapers at the top for awhile and the Exarch stayed around way to long. I think I did 30+ wounds to him as well and he made a crap ton of saves.

We ended up with him winning on Secondary Objectives. I couldn't keep a Warrior alive with Reanimation Protocols to save my life hah. But still - I shot a lot and made some nutty saves. If he didn't have that laser beam to shoot my Night Scythes down I would have flown around the board dakka dakka things all over the place.

The Terminators were poop this game. I just feel I need more guys and need to find some blob ideas. IG could always do good but I am liking Orks. I could go in two directions with them - either 60 boyz and a Big Mek or some Nob bikerz. I am leaning towards a bunch of boyz as that is a lot of dudes to get through as the Wraiths and shootie bits move around. I will be messing with this next.

This is the worst though - as it means I have to buy like 200 bucks in Wraiths. Or I could try to convert them up as well. I just like how the new models look and it isn't like the conversions will be any cheaper.

Minis! - Yes those are albino orks. I did one, it looked neat - so I needed to do 30. I might do another 30 too.







The Head is a Manticore head from the plastic Kit. Somehow it fit on the Wolf Body pretty easily with very little gap filling.

Lord I keep building lists

I can't stop. I think I need to borrow some minis and test out this Necron/GK build. It just feels interesting as it lets me play with a ton of stuff and well - it fits into my game mentality. What kind is that? Well I design a rock and then figure out what makes the opponent have tough decisions when playing this rock. So what is the list?

This hits right at 2000 pts. Will see if I want to figure out more and add Immortals (like the model) or get some Annihilation barges in there. It has all the elements I like. The tech marine might get dumped out too for an Assassin. The idea would be an Adeptus Mechanicus Necron theme with the GKs. Or Evil stuff. Who the heck knows. Right now I want to do real Chaos not fake Chaos haha.

It is hard for me to think of new lists right now. CSM is just burning at the edge of my goat brain so I just need to wait. I keep thinking of the CSM horde army if it is true and the new models cost 14 points a piece. 20 guys running around the table top. My idea is

60 CSM - special guns etc - Undivided
60 Cultists - guys to die

And then whatever else I have left. Some Hellbrutes - dragons, and other nonsense. If the Havoks are really 13 points a piece - look for 10 man blobs with good guns as some of the missions will activate them as troops - big guns never tire or big girls don't cry as my friend calls it.

Other nonsense - there is an idea to do Necron/Admech with Grey Knights. That wouldn't be a terrible army to mess around with. Here is a thought - using Necrons as the main army choice.

It seems like it might be decent - would look neat as you take a fully admech design to it. The GKT hold the center as you move up, shoot things, and move on. You could drop Coteaz for a regular Malleus Inq but he is there as the cheapest "Divination" libbie around. And if you can reroll wounds and hits that 10 man unit becomes a pain machine.

Other Combo ideas would see IG and Orks hanging out. This way you could utilize Orks death star bikes with some IG shooting and flyers. That could be good too.

I really like Deathwing as an Add on as well. Those scoring Termies are pretty hot and with the new lovely Models coming out soon we might see them added to a lot more armies. Hell speaking of those armies - that Chaos stuff is amazing. I can't wait to get ahold of them. That Hell Brute. Shit. I am looking at getting two boxes alone plus lots of other bits etc. Woohoo!

The idea that the boyz will be better off without a Nob to take challenges. I could also look at moving away from the PK nob or just hiding them in the back. It is a thought and so will see. It does save some points. And that is a lot of jerks on the table top with guns a blazin.

I have to think of my article for Monday. Not sure what I want to talk about. Might be a hobby related thing instead of some kind of 6th edition nonsense. NONSENSE I SAY! Plus I want to work on my comic idea. I will try the Penny Arcade comic showdown thing they got going. The Reality web comic competition. Will see if I an get into it. I got a cool idea that is not just a funny thing. Woohoo!

Monday - Well Morning

Woohoo - weekend wasn't too terrible. I saw the Master Pancakes Theater version of Conan the Barbarian. It is a local live Mystery Science Theater thing where they make fun of the move as we watch it. Saw it at the Alamo Ritz. Which I am sure for those people not from Austin means nothing. Either way it was a lot of fun.

I also got a new car this week too. I got myself and my wife a Fiat. Yup I got the hipster car. I wanted to get a better gas efficient car and the Fiat's had the right price. I will get some pics once I get the vinyl nonsense I want done on it. I am thinking some kind of black tentacles to match the red exterior and the red/black interior. I love me that tentacle shit.

Beyond that I will have some Sadness Donut shirts coming soon. Working on finding a good print on demand place that isn't too terrible. It will be brown shirts with a pink donut as it just seems to fit. I got two ideas and maybe a third for it so wait for those things to pop up. I also did a new banner for a guy and I am just waiting to see if he likes it. I want to work on some more art stuff as I went ahead and busted out 3 Plastic Dudesmen this past week. Woohoo! I need to get some dialogue fixing done but the art and coloring are finished. Woohoo!

This week started today so let's start the paint list and then my current Feast list if Chaos doesn't make it in soon enough.
