Goatboy - Oh My Gawds!

Woohoo - so as you can see I have slowed down a bit.  I should start ramping up but I have a trip out to Spikey Con next week so after that it is on until ATC.  Woohoo!  I got a lot of stuff to get done damnit.  And I got commissions coming in.

I have a Daemon commission coming as well as a small Ork commission.  Fun stuff indeed.  Plus my normal stuff as usual.  I got some bases coming in to finish off some Cryx and hopefully get my Angry Tau started as I might have to play them for ATC dammit!  First off - list that will be my normal go to.    And what I plan on bringing to Spikey Con.

Very basic and easy.  The only other changes is drop one of the wings and tweak to add 12 horrors to each one.  I want to get a cool conversion for Fateweaver - Evil Ad Mech.  Will see if I get it done in time for Spikey Con or else I just have to bring the Thirster I have.  Damn it!

Ugh - if I have to play Tau at ATC I am playing 3 Riptides.  I just don't care cuz I want robots to punch crap.  It just means I have to buy 3.  Blargh.  Blargh indeed.  Or I do a CSM/Tau nonsense or just straight CSM and do my Abbaddon/Typhus idiocy too.  Ugh - what should I play???

The tournament was fun as well at FTW. I played 3 decent games. I have continued my ability to not roll a 4+ with me hitting like 25% of my 4+ saves on my BW throughout the weekend. I played a test game versus Paul Murphy who easily chewed up the wagons with his IG. I couldn't roll and even running over a Chimera I just blue off the weapon when I penned it 3 times.

I think this means I need to just make my ork horde and leave it at that. Currently this is the plan - I got some random Avatars of War figures to be my Weird Boyz.

Will see how it works as I mess with it. I got some crazy quick painting to do this week - 52 Termagaunts and other nonsense that I might not have time to get all my jets done and build all the jerks for the army. I am planning on it but you never know. It sounds fun and I think that many guys painted on the table top is pretty neat. Hell I might jus do the whole army in Yellow to make for a really cohesive force on the table top. And to have people call me crazy for playing that many orks. Shit I might just do that.

Ok that is it for now - I am tired and I know this weekend is going to be filled with house work, terrain work, and whatever else. It is just going to be one of those weeks.

Woohoo - it is great I am off today. Going to hang out with some friends, play some games, and BBQ hopefully. Sucks the wife has to work :(. Usually its me working due to just wanting OT etc. But not today.

As I posted earlier - I will be at FTW games starting on Thursday through Sunday. I will be doing bag art, playing games, and having a good time. I will be bringing my orks and I can't wait to those DakkaJets. Woohoo!

You have 32 Missiles and lots of shooting as needed. Come near me and I bring the pain. You mixed Ghaz in there to hurt jerks who get to close and you got a nice mix. It is 2000 points and it will just be a pain to get rid of. Hell I would play it if I was playing Wargames Con.

Other ideas would be to get 3 BW and just create a - what the hell do I shoot option.

Friday - Another day and Another Dolla

Woohoo it is Friday and I went ahead and said F it to OT on Monday. I am off to FTW games next week so I only have a 2 day work week. It means Plastic Dudesmens needs to get done this Weekend. Woohoo! ART!

Lately I have been enamored with my orks again. I think painting a couple of big armies makes me miss my green skins. So with that in mind I plan on taking them to FTW this next weekend. Will see how it goes.

So with that - let's do a little blurb about.

Thursday May 31st thru June 3rd I will be at FTW Games in Midlothian, VA for the store's 2nd Birthday. That's right - Mr. Baer's store has been around for 2 years and just like last year I will be up there throwing dice, playing games, and getting your bags drawn on.

I should be getting in time to throw down on the late night 40k action that Thursday and I will be planning to squish things with Deff Rollas and cause people to complain about how the Ork codex is broken.

Here are some bags I did this other weekend at the Alamo as well as some new stuff!








I plan on bringing my orks and I am just slowly working on the pieces to get it all together. I am keeping my Core of 3 BW and I just want to look at either adding some random trukks for scoring or other options to help me out. Will see. Of course I need to get to painting some things but I am sure I will have a nice soul crushing army. look for my final list before I leave.

I will be up there with Jawaballs, Mr. Baer himself, Kenny and Mr. Paul "Sweat Pants" Murphy himself. I hear Mr. Brandt might come down as well so it will be a grand ole time as we yell about 6th edition, prices, and which booze is the best.

I did a ton of bags - and didn't make the championship. But still it was a lot of fun. This post is a super bag one!

















I will go over my games on BOLS before long. I am just glad I took the day off of work after coming back. Up next is The Alamo in San Antonio and then a visit back to Rob's store for the yearly birthday and then Wargames con. I got some other stuff planned after that so will see. I will be posting my thought list for the Alamo before long as I build it out.
