Woohoo Survived Las Vegas!

Hooray - I got back on Saturday - cracked opened my clients Dark Vengeance box and started painting the characters. In fact - I even did all of them and the Hellbrute. Hooray beer eh? I did lost money in Vegas but had a good time with my wife. I saw the Love Circe thing at the Mirage. Woohoo! It was good.

So with that in mind I haven't done much list thoughts. I am just too excited about Chaos to really break it down. I want to test out the Necron/Ork hybrid I talked about - especially with the changes in the FAQ and how it opens up the game and just feels right. Congrats to GW. Look for my discussion on Monday at BOLS. Woohoo!

I like to paint downstairs as it lets me chat with the wife as she does Jewelry stuff. She has some bad ass stuff and hope to get some pics on here if you are ever interested in getting the wife/girlfriend something neat. Woohoo! Feast is coming soon and I need to figure out my list damnit! Blargh! Plus I have to wait on my own Dark Vengeance stuff as well. Poops!

Goatboy - Monday and I am off today!

Woohoo - it is great I am off today. Going to hang out with some friends, play some games, and BBQ hopefully. Sucks the wife has to work :(. Usually its me working due to just wanting OT etc. But not today.

As I posted earlier - I will be at FTW games starting on Thursday through Sunday. I will be doing bag art, playing games, and having a good time. I will be bringing my orks and I can't wait to those DakkaJets. Woohoo!

You have 32 Missiles and lots of shooting as needed. Come near me and I bring the pain. You mixed Ghaz in there to hurt jerks who get to close and you got a nice mix. It is 2000 points and it will just be a pain to get rid of. Hell I would play it if I was playing Wargames Con.

Other ideas would be to get 3 BW and just create a - what the hell do I shoot option.

Ork Flyers - I have one made - depending on how bad I feel after Paintball will determine how much I do this weekend heh.

The Daemon army is almost done. I have one model to do and the two display boards for the team event and my own display board. They will be simple and functional - which I think is important for a traveling 40k warrior. I also need to figure out the foam for the Daemons.

Army list is getting finalized too. I might do one change - but will see if it ends up being worthwile. The other thought would be to drop the Khorne dogs for Seekers as in a lot of ways, on the charge they will do just as well. The issue would be in a paladin fight - the dogs will be more annoying. Argh hard thoughts haha - but all those rending attacks would be pretty awesome.

Depending on how soon the Chaos codex comes out - I might be experimenting with some Thunder Wolf builds to test them out. See if the trick works and other nonsense. I have a crap ton of jump packs so the idea of a "red fleas" army is also interesting too. Still - lots of things to think about.

Will post lists as I write them out for testing. Maybe they will work :).

Woohoo!! I got the wifey things. She has a bday on the 30th so I got her things for that too. She is getting me the body for a Contemptor dread. It will have a Goat head on it because I obviously hate the game. Hehe. A buddy is getting me one too so that one will be a Chaos one as we need one for games locally. Beyond that I might buy myself something 40k. Who knows.

I also got all the pieces for a small addition to the Ork army I painted last month (small my ass - 40 shoota boyz and 6 nob bikerz hehe). They will have cool heads so look for those starting up soon.

I am excited about this new Goat Guard guy as it will mean I get to paint more goats. Yay for my own personal stuff! I still need to rework a logo and I am just stuck on the design for right now. Might look to a graphic logo for an Icon and then a more cartoon like one for my banner head. I need something different. I also drew up Mortarion and Dorn. Colored Mortarion and Dorn will be coming soon. From there I will color up some of the older ones and continue on my goal to get GW mad at me for drawing the Primarchs for fun. I should just make the Goat Primarch - Goaticus the Mad! In fact I will go ahead and do that damnit. Codex Goat.

I like it so far as it moves and has lots of dudes. Not sure if the Wolf lord is needed as much, but it lets me play with Lemmy my super Wolf lord model. He isn't as nutty as I normally make him but he works this way. I wish I could have Logan in there - as it would make my WG scoring. I could probably do that. It would be a monster set of scoring units and that might not be too bad. I wouldn't have the Rock - but still. It could be an annoying list. Blargh.

I thought I had uploaded the Mortarion - guess I didn't. Will do a big art post later on this weekend I swear.

Woohoo - Start the paint week

This last week was kinda bunk with just holiday, wife bday, and just taking a break. I got a ton of art to do this week as well as minis, so the plan is to get a ton of stuff done. Woot. So I want to write out the paint week I plan on having.

I started today again - as I had some random time as I hung out with my hung over wifie. She had a birthday yesterday and I am sitting at home hearing all the fireworks go off around me. It can be fun to live somewhat outside the city limits. But my huge dog is not happy hah.

I tweaked the list to create more Daemon looking things in it so it might actually be good. I don't know if I will play it a bit and then sell it so will see.

Oh yeah happy new year!!! BAD ASS!!! This year will rock for sure!
